Long Term Care Insurance Leader Addresses Life Insurance Meeting

Debra C. Newman, CLU, ChFC, LTCP, founder of Newman Long Term Care, a member of the National LTC Network, addressed the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU) national convention held April 29-May 2.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

“I was there in my capacity of LIFE Foundation Board Chair, to show attendees two realLIFEstories videos. The videos are part of a compelling series that show real families, their losses, and the power of insurance,” said Newman. “It was an honor for me to share the main stage with luminaries such as Carly Fiorina, Haley Barbour, Donna Brazile, and President Bill Clinton.”

“Deb is an accomplished, seasoned long term care insurance leader. She has been instrumental in raising the visibility of long term care insurance among our colleagues who specialize in other product lines. The member firms of The Network join me in congratulating Deb Newman on this accomplishment,” said Terry Truesdell, President and CEO of the National LTC Network.

Over 1,400 attendees assembled in WA DC for the Annual Meeting, making it the largest attendance in the 55 years of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting conference.

The Minneapolis-based Newman has more than 30 years in the financial services industry, and is a recognized expert and frequent speaker on long term care issues.
