    Job Description

    Newman Long Term Care, one of the nation's largest Long Term Care Insurance marketing organizations, has immediate openings in its Richfield office. The position requires an administrative professional with a strong customer service background and attention to detail.

    Provide pre-sales support to agents via assistance with running quotes and plan design. Provide guidance and education to agents and advisors to increase their chances of success. To be a product specialist that can answer questions on both traditional and linked benefit long term care insurance. Responsible for maintaining relationships with some key accounts. Helping to recruit new agents to the Newman Long Term Care brokerage, or to the Business Alliance program.

    Essential Job Responsibilities:

    1. Providing long term care insurance quotes to brokers in a timely manner. Scheduling and maintaining follow-up to quotes to determine the outcome and to provide further assistance.
    2. First scrub of applications and prescreen and underwrite all new applications, including gathering missing information required to process application.
    3. Reaching the outbound call goals set for this position by the Leadership Team.
    4. Providing sales coaching to help agents have better conversations with their clients, whether by phone or in one-on-one on-site meetings.
    5. Being a resource for staff and agents on product-specific knowledge. This requires regularly attending product trainings (live, webinar or teleconference), and the ability to relay that same information to others in a clear and concise fashion.
    6. Being a resource for staff and agents on competitive information. Researching, creating and maintaining information on competing LTCI products.
    7. Recruiting agents to Brokerage or Business Alliance. This will be accomplished through outbound calls to agent prospects
    8. Assist Brokers with Application completion within client meetings either in office or by phone.
    9. Creating and maintaining detailed notes in the database.
    10. Working closely with Case Management to help move cases from pre-sales to application quickly and smoothly.
    11. Answering phones and assisting callers.
    12. Work with the Underwriting Panel to help determine where we might try placing any declined applicants.
    13. Related duties as assigned by any member of the Leadership Team.

    To be considered for this position, you must be able to work independently, manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in all of the Microsoft Office applications. MN Life/Health insurance license and Partnership Certification is required.
