Rhonda Vry-Bills grew up in rural Iowa, the daughter of a farmer and geriatric nurse who worked for the local Veteran's Home. Long term care issues such as quality of care, nursing shortages, patient to staff ratio, spending down assets, and independence are all conversations that Rhonda grew up with at the table.
Today, Rhonda is a sought after public speaker and has addressed many employer groups, numerous NAIFA chapter meetings, as well as educational and retirement groups on the significance of long-term care planning.
Since 1996, Rhonda has dedicated herself to the long-term care insurance business. She started her career at KVI/Marsh McLennan in telesales, educating members of national associations including Military Members, Education Associations, Engineers, and Retired Federal Employees. During her years at KVI/Marsh McLennan, Rhonda served members in all 50 states through education on Medicare, Medicaid, and Long Term Care planning.
In 2002, Rhonda left Marsh McLennan, to start her own company, Long Term Care Strategies, Inc. (Des Moines, IA), a company dedicated to finding the right long-term care strategy for everyone. She still believes in that philosophy today.
Rhonda joined Newman Long Term Care in 2005. She works with individuals, employers, and association members. Her core business focus has been the development of strategic business alliances with a broad-base of professionals, and assisting their clients with LTC planning.
In addition, Rhonda continues to give back to the community by teaching Sunday school classes and Jr. Achievement in the local school system.
